MFA JPL GIRLS 2024-25

MFA in Partnership with Langton Green JPL 2024-25

As a member of the team, you will play in the Junior Premier league, and matches will take place on Saturday's.  You will also be able to participate in our end of season tour which will give you the chance to play against international teams.

Being a member of the Langton Green /MFA JPL Team is an honour, but it also requires of you a special commitment. If you have been playing football at the recreational level, little may have been required of you. If you decide to move up to the more competitive, select level of JPL football, you will be expected to make certain commitments to your coaches, your team and yourself. At this level of competition, success and fun on the football field do not come without some extra effort. The will to win is not enough; you must also have the will to prepare to win.

We are speaking of more than just the effort it takes to show up at the football pitch on the day of the game. We are talking now about the kind of effort that involves hard work, choices about the way in which you wish to spend your free time, and perhaps some sacrifices on your part. Before you accept this invitation to become part of the team carefully consider the following commitments which each player must make. If you are willing to make this commitment, then we believe that we can help you become a better football player and a contributing member of a competitive football program.

As coaches, we commit to you that we also will work hard to help you improve your skills, gain in your knowledge of the game, and make practices a worthwhile experience. People very seldom are successful at anything unless they can have fun doing it. We will expect you to work hard, but we will make every effort to see to it that you have fun also. We believe that many good football experiences lie ahead of you.

Training and Games for JPL Girls Teams 2024-25

Squads: U14s Girls will have 2 training sessions per week, but please note the venues will be different but both in Tunbridge Wells.
We also have Goalkeeper coaching on Fridays 

U14s Girls
Thursdays– 7.00pm – 8.00pm @ Sinners Kent Academy, Sandown Park, Tunbridge Wells  TN2 4PY 3G pitch, moulds, or Astro boots only 

Fridays– 5.45pm – 7.00pm @ St Gregory’s School, Reynolds Lane, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 9XL. 3G pitch, moulds, or Astro boots only.


Saturday– GAME DAY (Games will be on Saturday afternoon).
The home pitch is at Skinners Kent Academy 3G. 
Kick off time: 12.30pm (Home Games)

Costs

We would love to say there would be no cost to play football with us, but we have tried to keep costs down as low as possible as this is a partnership there are two separate fees an MFA fee and a Langton Green Fee details of what they cover is below

MFA FEE 2024-25
The MFA fee will be £140.00 Sept - Dec 2024 and £140.00 Jan 2025 - April 2025 and covers the 3G costs at St Greg’s and the support of the MFA academy team.
This is paid via 2 payments (Sept - Dec 2024 and Jan 2025 - April 2025) on the website via Paypal. Please make sure you register your daughter first before you add to basket and pay.

LANGTON GREEN FEE 2023-24

The Langton Green Fee is set at the AGM annually and all teams will pay the same (except KYL and adult teams), currently the fee is £325.00 (This fee may be slightly cheaper)
This Fee covers the Thursday 3G pitch hire, all pitch fees, referee fees, training equipment for the team, insurance, affiliation fees.
The fee can be paid in a lump sum or split over instalments and is done via the Langton Green club website.

Both payments must be set up and in place for the start of the season in September 2024.

Players will not be able to play until payments have been made for the season.
