The mSPORTi Goalkeeping Academy 

Our goalkeeper coaching class is extremely popular and is open to all children aged 7 to 14 who want to improve their skills between the sticks. Keepers will follow a special programme designed to improve positioning, handling, kicking, throwing and agility.  This is an area that most coaching organisations tend to forget about, but MFA is dedicated to offering the best possible coaching.

Since we introduced keeper training many young keepers have gone on to play for clubs in the area and many still return for extra training to hone their skills. Our very best keepers have gone on to train with Brighton’s Academy, which is testament to what can be achieved with dedication, hard work and practice.

Goalkeepers spend an intensive 1 hour session with our keeper coach who put them through their paces.
This is a perfect opportunity for the GK’s to develop all aspects of there game.

MFA GK’s will also have the opportunity to play in ‘Show Piece’ matches against suitable opposition as well have the chance to go on an international football tour at Easter 2025!

5pm-6pm SPACES AVAILABLE TECH 1 (GK YR2, YR3, YR4, YR5, YR6, YR7)

TECH 2 BOYS AND GIRLS
6pm-7pm SPACES AVAILABLE TECH 2 (GK YR8, YR9)

Pricing:
TECH 1 (5-6PM) or TECH 2 (6PM-7PM) = £30.00 month direct debit or payment via website (with Paypal)

Please note the first payment will consist of £30.00 Membership and Affiliation (This is a one off payment).
There will be 38 weekly sessions throughout the academic year. 

MFA do NOT run in School Holiday's.  

MFA players will also have the opportunity to play in ‘Show Piece’ matches against suitable opposition as well have the chance to go on an international football tour at Easter 2025!

NEW KIT 2024-25

All MFA players are required to purchase the kit. At MFA we have a special kit for outfield players (yellow) and a different kit for the GK (black and blue).
It is very important to us at MFA that players are in kit as the presentation of the Academy is vital, and we want all the players to look smart and play smart.

Venue
St Gregory's School 3G Football Pitch, Reynolds Lane, Royal Tunbridge Wells TN4 9XL

Please do not come in via the Reynolds lane entrance. If you come in via Tunbridge Wells Sports centre and turn left, follow the road down to the 3G.
Kindly park round the back of the St Gregorys Sports Hall. There are 2 3G football pitches, Boys grammar is first and then St Gregorys is the second pitch.

Important note: there is a very strict footwear policy on the new 3G pitches at St Gregory’s. It is recommended that players and coaches wear moulded boots / blades. Metal studs, metal blades and flat shoes are not allowed.

Players MUST wear shin pads to every session and this is the parents responsibility to ensure they have them.
